Reverse Osmosis Case Studies

Date of Course

29 Feb and 11 March 2016

Course Aim

This 10-hour course is designed to provide valuable training on seawater desalination using reverse osmosis (RO) technology. After a brief review of the desalination basics, the course will provide a detailed coverage on desalination plant design, membrane fouling and fouling control, pretreatment, and other operational aspects. Case studies of RO desalination plant design and operation will be presented, and recent innovations for energy reduction and cost saving will be highlighted. The course is ideal for engineers and professionals who are working or are planning to working in the desalination industry.

Lecturer
