Purpose of the Preview Session: To deliver 15 minutes lecture of the selected module of the students; teaching content will be given to the participants.

Fee of the Preview Session: Free of Charge

Objective:

This part-time Saturday course comprises 10 modules for delegates to select. The course will provide the basic knowledge for the delegates to work on the environmental industry covering sewage treatment plant, wastewater treatment plants, solid waste, air pollution impact and Environmental Impact Assessment in Hong Kong; i.e. their causes, types and characteristics of pollutants, their assessment methods and practical measurement techniques, and control technologies. For those delegates who selected sewage and wastewater treatment technique should be able to apply the design principles, understand the operational aspects of equipment and be able to apply the skills to problem shooting after attending the course. People who are working on sewage and wastewater treatment plant and various industries like construction, food processing and electroplating would also benefit from the course.

Target Audience:

Designer, Process Engineers, Operators, Technicians, Environmental Protection Officer and Regulators, Environmental Engineers and Site Staff.
