Who should attend?
This 2-Day CPD Course has been planned for engineers involved in the planning, investigation, design, construction, operation and management of Hong Kong’s evolving Flood Management Infrastructure to meet economic development and Climate Change challenges.
Basic knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics is essential for drainage engineers to work in close collaboration with expert hydrologists and hydraulic researchers. Such knowledge is also a pre-requisite for drainage engineers to apply proprietary or open domain hydrological-hydraulic softwares without misuse.
The Course is also relevant to professionals working in water resources engineering and wastewater management, both of which involve extensive applications of hydrology and hydraulics.
