20 and 27 Nov Diagnosis and Management of Plant Diseases & Pest Problems (Sessions 1-4)

Course Dates: 20 Nov 2019 and 27 Nov 2019

   Biography of Lecturer: Dr. T. K. Goh

   Dr. Goh obtained his Ph.D. degree at the University of Georgia in the U.S. in the field of plant

   pathology. He is currently a certified arborist, and has obtained a tree risk assessment qualification

   from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Dr. Goh has been a teacher and research

   scientist at various universities of Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan, for more than 25 years. He

   has worked on fungi and published more than 100 research papers in the field of mycology and plant

   pathology. Dr. Goh has been teaching various subjects related to plants, fungi, plant diseases and

   insect pests, and his method of teaching has been well received by students.

Programme

The complete course consists of 11 sessions (S1-S11) and one assessment session (S12). Each session 1-11 is tailor-made for one topic of 3 hours. There will be an assessment (S12) after the completion of 11 sessions. A certificate of competency will be issued to the participants who have passed the assessment in Section 12. Participants are free to decide whether they want to take the assessment or not.
